5 Months!

This month you:
-Went to state tennis to support aunt Hope and you saw your first snow.
-Went to state volleyball to support aunt Holly.
-You weight roughly 13 lbs 9 oz (at home scale).
-You have gotten really good at grabbing toys or anything that is put in front of you.
-Whatever you grab automatically goes to your mouth. You chew on everything!
-We've been trying to feed you rice cereal this month. You are NOT interested. You spit it all out.
-You rolled over!! On October 7th, you rolled from your stomach to your back. On October 15th, you rolled from your back to your stomach. Since those dates, you've only rolled over a few more times. You like to roll on your own time (never when we want you to :)). You now spend quite a bit of time on your stomach. That head is just so heavy....you usually like to just lay there.
-Again, you are still fascinated with the outdoors. Since the weather has gotten colder, we haven't been able to go outside quite as much, but we try as often as we can. When you're inside, you constantly look at the windows. We think you're looking at the trees blowing in the wind.
-You are extremely curious (understatement)!! Sometimes you are so curious, it becomes a fault....you are easily distracted. It has gotten to the point where dad can't be in the room if you're nursing. He even texts mom to see if he can come in the house after he gets home from work. If you are nursing and hear the door --- you are finished.
-You are on a 4-4.5 hour schedule during the day. You typically take two 2 or 2.5 hour naps and then a 30 minute nap in the evening. Your long naps are in your crib and your evening nap is in your swing (or if we're lucky, in our arms :)).
- Realize your capability to move your hands. They are fascinating to you and can keep you entertained for quite a while. You rotate them in circles and your eyes follow them round and round.
-We changed your schedule with the time change. Instead of going to bed around 10:30, you now go to bed around 9:30 and sleep until almost 7.
- Still rub your nose and eyes like crazy when you are tired. We sure hope you don't have allergies!
-Had your first Halloween! You were a sweet sweet princess.
-Attended your first Harvest Missions weekend at church.
-People continue to comment on how beautiful your smile is. You will smile at anyone. We love it!

Pretty, pretty, Princess

Our little future hurdler! Just like dad. We'll work on straightening out that lead leg!
