2 months

We can't believe you're already two months old!! Where has the time gone?!?!

At two months:
-You've really found your smile.
-You're obsessed with ceiling fans.
-You reacted and giggled one day before you turned two months.
-You're growing!! It's bittersweet. We know you need to grow, but miss our tiny little bundle. You weighed 8 lbs 13.5 oz a couple days before.
-You started filling out your skin.
-You transition between breast feeding and a bottle very well. Thank you so much for doing that. It allows us to keep an open and somewhat spontaneous schedule.
-Unless you are completely awake before you start eating, you tend to be a really lazy eater.
-You still keep a fairly consistent schedule. Thank you!!
-Your eyelashes started to grow. They are so beautiful.
-You're serious about looking around. You need to be held in a way that you can see.
-You lock into faces now and can focus and follow.
-You've started to enjoy spending time on your playmat. (Thank you Uncle Vance and Aunt Celine)
-You had a friend born on July 19. I don't think you'll ever be bigger than her.



Your Adventures:
-You went to your first rodeo. Your mom couldn't enjoy it at all because she thought it was too loud.
-You went to your first farm show. We hope you enjoy the farm life.
-You went to your first wedding. You traveled very well to Wichita. You slept almost the whole way. Behaved very well throughout the day. You didn't quite make it through the wedding. Dad had to take you out to change your diaper and you kept fussing for a little while after that. We didn't want to interrupt the ceremony so we stayed outside. We got back home from Wichita around 1:45 a.m. It was a very long day, but we were proud of you for how you handled the day.
-You love being outdoors. Anytime you're fussy and nothing else works to calm you down, stepping outside will do the trick.

New Nicknames:

-Mom calls you love bug
-Grandma Lisa calls you sweetness


It's needless to say that you've changed a lot. We enjoy seeing those changes on a daily basis. We can't even imagine what will change over the next month. Dad and Mom have fallen in love with you more and more each day.
